Playful City Installation is a Festival Hit

‘Bâtiment’ at Bispetorvet, Aarhus Festival’s architectural city space installation created by the Argentine artist Leandro Erlich, has already proven one of the most popular attractions this year. On Friday, around 1,300 visitors experienced the artwork, and even more were expected on Saturday.

Leandro Erlich’s piece suspends reality and gravity with a spatial illusion at Bispetorvet. Utilizing massive mirrors, the façade of a building, the design of which is inspired by architecture in and around Aarhus, is projected onto the ground providing the illusion of a horizontal structure.

Don’t be limited by the laws of physics. Check out ’Bâtiment’ and “climb” around the building yourself before the attraction closes on Sunday, September 4.
